Longer Twitter Direct Message now available for all

Now, all Twitter users can send long Direct Messages to fellow tweeps, as the new feature went global, the microblogging platform said early Thursday, Aug. 20. In a tweet, Twitter encouraged users not to hold back when sending long direct messages. "Long DM"s for all! The update is now available to everyone," it said.
