Twitter users using desktop PCs may now get notifications when they get direct messages from fellow tweeps, the micro-blogging site said on Tuesday, Aug. 25. In a tweet, Twitter said the notification feature for the web is opt-in. "Direct Message notifications are now available on web," it said Direct Message notifications are now available on web.
